March 2024 will see Cabra Bowls commence a complete refurbishment of the Southern end of the Club including the foyer, main bar, lounge, and indoor/outdoor gaming areas.
Cabra Bowls Group CEO, Jay Porter says “The intent is to reinvigorate the club and provide attractive and comfortable spaces for members to use at all times during the day and night.”
The foyer area will be a more contemporary and lighter space for patrons to enjoy upon visiting the club, with new floor tiling, wall treatment, joinery, and furniture provisions. The space will be opened to allow for ease of movement during busier times. There will also be a more streamlined sign-in area complimented by a stand-alone concierge desk.
The foyer will provide direct access into a spacious new lounge area. This space will feature a large-scale TV LED screen for sports and special event viewing along with a diverse range of seating options including bar tables and stools, comfortable dining options, more relaxed lounge chairs, sofas, and occasional seating. The main bar will have a complete facelift, whilst remaining the central feature of the space.
Overall, there will be new carpet throughout the refurbished area, feature walls treated with monotone and abstract wall graphics and the interior will be further enhanced with daring red curtain clusters.
Batten treatments to the ceiling over the bar and seating area define each of the spaces for a more intimate feel and faux planting overhead softens the areas for a more homely feel.
